The Clarke County Sheriff’s Department arrested two men for the theft of welding equipment on County Road 511 on November 19th. Michael White and Brad Sellers, both of Clarke County, were arrested on November 20th and charged with grand larceny.
The Rail Authority of East Mississippi (RAEM) will host the second of three public meetings in Leakesville on Thursday, December 10, to get public input on the rail project and answer questions on the process moving forward. The meeting, at Town Hall from 5:00 p.m.

The Clarke County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 2015 Christmas Parade in Quitman on December 5 at 10:30 a.m. The Blair brothers, Joe and Jim, will serve as Grand Marshalls of the parade.
Chancery Courts in Clarke and Marion counties will begin voluntary electronic filing of court documents on Nov. 16, and will move to mandatory electronic filing on Dec. 14.
