A new group has started up on Facebook that hopes to unite all mustang owners.
Gene Bishop, the creator of the group, hopes to have enough members join the Facebook page and at least share pictures of mustangs and talk about them on various posts.
If possible, he would also like for the social group to meet up at various times and places just to spend time together and bond over a mutual love of mustangs.
“I started the Facebook page so I could get people to hopefully join and show pictures of their cars and talk about them,” explained Gene. “We may be able to get together at Bumpers or somewhere else just to have a little social get-together.”
His idea is for mustang owners to be able to share different things they like to do and just talk about cars.
“It’s just a social page to gather people,” said Gene. “I have a preference for drag racing and race my car. It’d be nice to have some people who wanted to go up to Collinsville to the drag strip, run the cars a little bit, and just have some fun. I just thought it would be fun to find some people in our area to socialize with and just show off your cars.”
