Clarke County Economic Development Board Presents to Congressman Guest

While touring his Congressional District on Friday, May 31st Congressman Michael Guest stopped at the Quitman Courthouse to receive a briefing on the Clarke County Strategic Plan.  This work is being conducted by the Clarke County Economic Development Committee.

The meeting was attended by the ED Committee and the Board of Supervisors.  While the work is only in draft stage it was an opportunity to share pertinent information with our newly elected Congressman.  Meetings are currently underway to receive input from municipal government and other interested parties.  Plans should be completed later this year and will be shared appropriately; specifically in the Tribune.

Congressman Guest’s willingness and interest in Clarke County is greatly appreciated.
