Quitman School District would like to announce our 8th annual Community Book Read. This year, the book is The Coffee Bean and The Coffee Bean for Kids by Damon West and Jon Gordon.
January 11th will be the kick-off for our community reading event. Each school will participate in activities that relate to the book between January 11th and January 22, 2021. On January 25th Damon West, one of the authors, will visit with both students and community members. During the day, he will speak to each school and sign books for those interested; later that evening, a book signing for the community will be held at the Quitman High School Auditorium at 6:00 P.M.
We look forward to the event surrounding this inspirational book and hope you all enjoy reading it as much as we have.
