Annie Laura Boykin

Annie Laura Boykin, 73, of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away on August 1, 2019 at Anderson's Hospital. 

She was born on September 14, 1945, to Henry and Anner (McGrew) Williams in Clarke County, MS.

She was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from Rush Hospital.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, Mississippi.

Annie is survived by her brother, Tommy (Ellie) Williams; sisters, Polly (Tommie) Parker and Rosie (Larry) Russell; special great nephew, John Johnson and several nieces, nephews & extended family members. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. E. Boykin; parents, Henry and Anner Mae Williams; and brother, Luther B. Williams.

Visitation was held Tuesday, August 6, 2019, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.  The body was taken to the church at 10:00 a.m. for visitation. Burial followed at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Steve Johnson, John Johnson, James Wood, Billy Joe Baker, James Fagan and Danny Crump.  Honorary Pallbearers were Tommy Williams, Tommie Parker, Larry Russell, Brennon Williams, Gene Parker, Randy Hirst, Dennis Avera, Danny Avera, Billy Wayne Baker, Jamie Baker, Michael Boykin, Philip Boykin, J. T. Jordan and Marshall McGrew.
