Mallie Junior Dearman, 87, of Quitman, MS, passed away on February 25, 2018, at his residence. He was born on December 21, 1930, to Mallie and Cornelia (Flowers) Dearman in Clarke County, MS. He was a lifelong member of Cooper's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mallie is survived by his sons, Jerry Dale (Brenda) Dearman and Eddie Ray Dearman; grandchildren, Kaye (Matt) Jones, Jason (Tiffany) Dearman, Eddie Dwight (Gayla) Dearman and Michael Andrew (Kara) Dearman; great-grandchildren, Breanna Dearman, Macey Jones, Reagan Jones, Logan Dearman, Katelyn Dearman, Makagan Massingill, Rory Dearman, Sage Dearman, Kadence Jones, and Rylan Dearman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Voncile R. Dearman; and parents, Mallie and Cornelia Dearman.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church, Quitman, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 3:00 p.m. at the Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church, with Rev. Chance May officiating. Burial will take place in the Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Dearman, J.C. Dearman, Leroy Dearman, Gary Doggett, Jerry Wayne Dickerson, David Holifield and John Cooper.
