Mary Eloyce Mosley

Mary Eloyce Mosley, 75, of Shubuta, MS, passed away on October 6, 2018, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. 

She was born on February 16, 1943, to Thad and Neva (Loper) Cox in Quitman, MS.

She was a longtime member of Center Ridge Baptist Church where she served as musician and treasurer of the church and cemetery committee.

Eloyce is survived by her husband, Edwin Mosley; sons, Rick (Miranda) Harvey and Shannon (Sarah) Harvey; daughter, Joanna Harvey; grandchildren, Amber (Billy) Burgess, Ben Griffin,  Chelsea Harvey, Caroline Harvey, and Matthew Harvey; great-grandchildren, Marley Burgess, Kayleigh Burgess, and River Harvey; brother-in-law, John Robert Day; nieces, Edith (Albert) Elmore and Jane (Terry) Pitts; and great-nieces, Terra Pitts and Taryn Pitts. 

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Burl Harvey; parents, Thad and Neva Cox; brother, Billy Cox and sister, Avie June Day.

Visitation was held Tuesday, October 9, 2018, after 9:30 a.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church, Quitman, MS.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the Center Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Hill officiating. Burial took place in the Center Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tony Fleming, David Mayo, Matt Mayo, Matthew Harvey, Ben Griffin, and Billy Burgess.
