The 17th Annual MLK “Unity” Parade will be held in Quitman on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 12 noon.
This year’s parade will feature the QHS band, Heidelburg band and special guests, Holmes County marching band, Amanda HS band of Greenwood, MS, the Corvette Car Club, and more.
The Grand Marshals will be Terry Rogers and retired Judge Tobey Bartee.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Black Inventions.”
Float prizes will be 1st place $100, 2nd place $50, and 3rd place $50.
