Clarkco State Park is preparing to host its 6th Annual Ivy Trek Ultra on September 26.
Renovations at the park have been completed, and everyone can enjoy plenty of camping in both tents and campers, beautiful cabins, and the beautiful scenery that surrounds the area.
There are three different races that people can compete in. Those who plan to compete in the 50K need to be there at 6:30 a.m.
Those who plan to compete in the 25K need to be there by 7:00 a.m. Those who plan to compete in the 12.5K need to be there by 7:15 a.m.
They will have packet pickups on September 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Pavilion #2 where the start/finish line is located.
Anyone who is unable to pick up their packet at that time can pick it up the day of the race, but they need to come a little earlier in order to get it.
There will be an Aid Station available somewhere on the loop to assist those in need of aid since the loop is 7.78 miles. The start/finish line will also serve as an Aid Station.
All participants must bring a water container with them. Coolers to refill the containers will be provided. Just do not litter. Anyone caught littering can be disqualified from the race.
There is a registration fee to enter each race, and participants must register before the event. To register and learn more about the event, go to https://www.time2run.net/The-Ivy-Trek-Ultra.php.
