The Clarke County Airport Board is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified professional engineering firms to provide airport engineering services for improvements at Clarke County Airport.
Services may include planning, design, preparation of plans and specifications, bidding assistance, construction administration and inspection, FAA/MDOT coordination, grant assistance, and other related services. Anticipated projects may include hangar improvements and hangar door replacement, airfield pavement, apron and taxiway improvements, lighting/electrical improvements, fuel facility improvements, drainage, and other airport improvements.
Consultant selection will be qualifications-based and conducted in accordance with applicable FAA requirements, including FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14, and applicable federal, state, and local procurement requirements. Fees or pricing shall not be submitted with the SOQ.
SOQs should include the firm's qualifications, relevant airport and FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) experience, qualifications of key personnel, similar projects and references, knowledge of FAA and MDOT requirements, and ability to complete projects within required schedules.
SOQs must be received no later than 5:00 PM on September 30, 2026.

The Clarke County Airport Board reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive informalities, and select the firm determined to be in the best interest of Clarke County Airport, subject to applicable requirements. DBE participation is encouraged.
