Last week we introduced the thought of true believers struggling with crippling emotions and we focused on depression. We want to continue to talk about this more than common trial faced by many people we know and love and respect as fellow followers of Christ. Our question today is, “What if I am the one dealing with depression?” What if I am the one dealing with depression?

Employees of the Leflore County Juvenile Detention Center walked off the job Friday after not receiving any pay since Nov. 7, shutting down the facility.
In an email sent Friday morning to Leflore County Sheriff James Payne and Leflore County Administrator Cynthia Stanciel and shared with the Commonwealth, Leflore County and Youth Court Judge James Littleton said the detention center shut down since no employees of the center were at work to provide security, book juveniles held there or perform drug tests, among other services.

A body found near Bogalusa late Thursday night is believed to be that of a missing 78-year-old man.
Carley Donald Provost Sr., age 78, has not been seen for months. Officials have not yet definitely confirmed that the body discovered late Thursday night is him, but they seem relatively sure that it is.
Some of Provost’s family members have been concerned for months about him. A welfare check conducted by law enforcement last year went nowhere when he could not be located, yet there was no hard evidence showing that anything had happened to him.
