Funeral services for Angela Kay Shenks Dunigan, 44, of the Horne Community in Clarke County, MS, were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Center Ridge Baptist Church. Visitation was held from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service. Interment followed in Center Ridge Cemetery.
Angie was born September 19, 1977. She passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Watkins Hospital in Quitman, MS.
Angie loved her children and her family and enjoyed family gatherings and barbeques. She collected porcelain dolls, enjoyed camping and loved sleeping during times of rain.
She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Scott Dunigan of the Horne Community; son, Josiah Scott Dunigan of the Horne Community; daughters, Katelyn Marie Stiebel of Southaven, MS, Emma Victoria Dunigan of Memphis, TN, Isabella Grace Dunigan of Memphis, TN, Gabriella River Dunigan of Memphis, TN, and Jasie Sabel Dunigan of the Horne Community; mother, Tammy Brown Shenks of Horn Lake, MS; brother, Rodney Samuel “Sammy” Shenks, Jr. (Jennifer) of Southaven, MS; brothers-in-law, Cory Dunigan (Amber) of Fulton, MS, Shane Dunigan of Natchez, MS, and Nick Robinson of Gainesville, FL; and sisters-in-law, Desiree Dunigan of Monteray, LA, Lacy Dunigan Guillot of Galvez, LA, and Alece Dunigan of Atmore, AL. She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Samuel “Sam” Shenks, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Jamison Casey Dunigan and Heath Dunigan; and sister-in-law, Heather Dunigan.
Serving as pallbearers were Ben Perry, Jamie Whatley, Luke Anderson, Rodney “Sammy” Shenks, Coleman Shenks, and Brady Dunigan. Honorary pallbearers were J.C. Kennedy, Rodney Johnson, Robert English, Patrick Lindsey, Bruce English, and Javon Diamond.
