Anthony "Andy" Jacob Long, 54, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on February 7, 2026, at J. T. Champion Nursing Home in Meridian, MS.
He was born on July 22,1971, to William Long and Vallie (Beckman) Molony in Jackson, MS.
Andy is survived by his mother, Vallie Molony; step-mother, Sandra Long; brothers, Shawn Long and Rickey (Kim) Riley; sisters, Valla (Jamey) Taylor, Deedee Harper, Danielle (Eric) Miller, Susan Driver, Geishla Driver, and Lynn (Brian) Belk; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his dear friend, Steve Dickey.
He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Long.
Visitation was held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
Burial took place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clint Taylor, Shawn Long, Travis Risher, Jamey Taylor, Steve Dickey and Lance Hinson. Honorary Pallbearers were Rickey Riley, Todd Riley and Mike Ivey.
