B Styles Salon held its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 3, 2022.
Business owner Lynn Busby has worked at a salon in Laurel for years and recently decided to open her own salon in Quitman after receiving encouragement from her husband, Kevin Busby.
“I spent 13 years travelling back and forth to Laurel. I love my people there and loved working there,” explained Lynn. “Kevin suggested I bring my business to Quitman. I decided after prayer that I would start this business in Quitman. I’m here, and I’m here to please everybody to the best of my ability. I’m going to do my best.”
The salon accepts clients of all ages, and Lynn actually works very well with children.
“I’m actually pretty good with kids,” stated Lynn. “I keep them occupied. I’ll give them Dumdums if the parents allow me. I’m always happy to entertain them and love kids.”
The salon has very reasonable prices that vary based on age and the services needed.
Along with hair, the salon also offers manicures and pedicures with Keely Denton as the nail tech. The nail services are also very reasonably priced and even offer special prices for children 12 and under.
