A Back to School Bash Giveaway will be held Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Stonewall Softball Field on River Road in Stonewall. Please bring your children out for fun and free food! There will be many different activities. This giveaway is sponsored by Supervisor Darrick Marshall.
“We’re just going to be having a good time showing appreciation to the people in the community. We’re going to have some vendors and give away pens, paper, etc. to the kids and will have hot dogs and hamburgers,” declared Marshall. “Everyone from both Enterprise and Quitman School Districts are welcome to attend. We’re doing this because a lot of kids in the neighborhoods don’t have the supplies they need, and we thought it would be a good idea not only to invest in the parks but to also invest in the communities themselves. We want to invest back in the kids and make sure they have all the paper, pencils, and supplies they need when they go back to school in August.”
Come out and support our youth, because they are our future!
