Get ready for the Battle of the Bucks Youth Edition this Saturday, February 21, at 6:00 p.m. at the Enterprise Baptist Church multi-purpose center.
The winners have already been selected and will receive their prizes the night of the event. The prizes were donated by some amazing sponsors.
The first place winner will receive a shooting house from the Clarke County CO-OP, exotic game hunting trip at Three Oaks Farm in Toomsuba, Bergara B-14 Stoke Rifle 6.5 PRC with Leopold VX3 CDS scope, and a shoulder mount deer.
Second place through fifth place winners will receive a Winchester XPR Hunter Compact 6.5 Creedmoor and shoulder mount deer.
Sixth place through tenth place will receive a $500 gift certificate for Rock House Gun and Pawn, Garretts, 601 Sports, or RW’s Taxidermy & Hunting Supplies in Meridian and Xtreme Outdoors in Waynesboro.
All youth that enter a deer in the contest are eligible for a random drawing at the banquet. They must be present to win. The prize is a Winchester XPR Hunter Compacts 6.5 Creedmoor.
All rifles will have to be registered by a parent or legal guardian. Contact Jay’s Taxidermy Facebook page for more instructions.
Donations can also be made at the event, and all proceeds that are collected will be kept at the Baptist Center where any church can apply for it for kids to go on different youth trips, youth activities, or anything involving the youth.
The event is open to the public, and guests should wear camouflage, overalls, or any other clothes that can be used for hunting. Just don’t wear a suit.
There will be a variety of food to eat, including different types of deer, sausages, bobcat, alligator, and all sorts of different things.
Anyone who would like to make a donation can send money to Clarke County Baptist Association, P.O. Box 195, Quitman, MS 39355.
