Friendship M.B. Church, located at 10247 County Road 250 in Vossburg, will be hosting a benefit for Minister Edison Satcher and Corey Carter on Saturday, February 1, that will begin at 11:00 a.m. and last until they run out of food.
The two recently lost their house in a structure fire, and the church would like to assist them in raising the funds to rebuild their home.
Anyone who would like to order ahead are more than welcome to, but they will also be open for walk in plate purchases.
The following is the food menu that will be available and their prices:
• Fish Sandwich - $7.00
• Fish Plate (whiting or catfish, baked beans, potato salad, lemonade or tea) - $15.00
• Hamburger Steak Dinner - $15.00
• Turkey Neck Boil (with corn, potatoes, and sausage) - $15.00
• Red Beans and Rice - $15.00
• Pulled Pork Sandwiches - $7.00
• Green Salad - $15.00
• Chicken Salad - $15.00
• Layered Cakes - $15.00
• Pound Cakes - $40.00
• Pan of Collard Greens - $35.00
