With the intense summer heat, Tracy McCarty has decided to make a change to when the annual Muscadine and Music Festival will be held.
While the Muscadine Festival won’t take place in July, he does plan to hold the Big Burger Cruise In at The Garage, located at 2339 Highway 145 South in Quitman, on Saturday, July 6, from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for everyone to come and enjoy.
“This is not replacing the Muscadine Festival,” declared McCarty. “Due to the heat, we’re going to move the festival to a later part of the year, and we’re just going to have this car show. I normally do a car show in July, so that’s pretty much it.”
There will be plenty for people to enjoy at the Big Burger Cruise In Car Show.
“We won’t be judging the cars, but we will be giving away participation plaques,” described McCarty. “We’ll have food, drinks, and live entertainment. Gravel Road Profits will start at 7:00, and we’re going to go until 10:00 that night. It’s going to be like a regular car show. Everybody can come and park, bring tents and lawn chairs, enjoy the vendors, and listen to live music. Of course, we’ll be making burgers and things like that. We’ll also have snowball vendors and any other vendors that want to participate.”
