Bobby Hicks, 76, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on January 21, 2025, at Baptist Anderson.
He was born on May 22, 1948, to James and Nettie Hicks in Quitman, MS.
Bobby loved cattle farming and gardening. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed going hunting in his spare time. Bobby was married to the love of his life, Carolyn, for 50 years. He was a loving husband, father, and pawpaw. Bobby was also known as an extremely hard working man.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hicks; sons, Robert (Ashley) Hicks and Jason (Brittany) Hicks; granddaughters, Adyson Hicks, Maeley Hicks, and Gracie Hicks; grandson, Kaden Hicks; and sister, Alice Andrews
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hicks; mother, Nettie Hicks; sister, Doris Flowers; and grandson, Joshua Hicks.
Pallbearers will include Robert Hicks, Jason Hicks, Jason Coleman, Frank Covington, William Stewart, and Les Griffin.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Gullick officiating.
