Bobby Ray Harris, 65, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on May 27, 2022, in Birmingham, AL.
He was born on April 20, 1957, to Jimmy and Ophelia (Mixon) Harris in Meridian, MS.
Bobby Ray was a member of River of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stonewall, MS. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and was a friend to all that knew him. He worked in the transportation industry for over 43 years as a truck driver.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Harris; four sons, Bobby Joe (Regina) Harris, Billy Joe (Stephanie) Harris, David (Brooke) Harris and Daniel (Kaytelyn) Harris; sister, Karen Hoffman; twelve grandchildren, Eliza, Jude, Cruz, Brayden, Ryan, Aubrey, Alex, Aaron, Carter, Walker, Ramzee, Riley Jo (on the way); and aunt, Codelia Wayman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Paul Harris, and mother, Ophelia Mixon Harris.
Visitation was held Wednesday, June 1, 2022, after 5:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Steppe and Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
Burial took place in the Archusa Memorial Gardens.
