The Clarke County Rabbit Club will be hosting its first annual Breakfast and Pictures With Bunnies at the Quitman Multipurpose Building, located at 101 Westwood Avenue in Quitman, on April 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Tickets to attend are $10 and must be purchased by April 1 from a rabbit member or the Mississippi State Extension Office. The event is a fundraiser that kids will enjoy participating in and will benefit the youth in the county who participate in the Rabbit Club.
“There will be photo opportunities with live bunnies to choose from,” explained Clarke County Rabbit Club President Heather Grantham. “It is $10 per person and includes breakfast and a picture. Pictures will be emailed out once they are edited. Kids will get a treat bag when leaving. This is a fundraiser to help our program grow and to buy any necessary supplies along with letting our kids earn premium checks for all their hard work.”
Along with taking pictures with live bunnies, those who attend will enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee.
They are very thankful for the support the community has shown them and continues to show.
“We want to thank the community for their continued support,” expressed Grantham.
If anyone would like to sponsor or would just like more information on the event, contact Heather Grantham at 601-938-7397 or the Extension Office at 601-776-3951.
