Maples Gas was thrilled to introduce Burrito Company, located in the Chevron in Quitman, this past week.
They offer a unique food option to replace the former Subway in the building. Now, customers are able to select their own unique blend of flavors and toppings to create different burritos and protein bowls.
Quitman is the first store to provide this option, and it will possibly appear in other Maple Gas stores in the future.
“It’s called Burrito Company, and we do burritos and protein bowls,” explained Tyler Fitzgerald with Maple’s Gas. “It is not a franchise. We’re kind of making it into our own franchise as Maple’s Gas Company. This is our first location with it. We’re trying it here, and then we might expand into some stores in Meridian. You can either get a burrito, protein bowl, choose one of our specials, or make it yourself. We have all the fixings and everything. It’s Mexican food, but it’s different. We feel like it’s a good replacement for the Subway that was in here. It’s something different, but you still have a healthy option.”
They are open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
