It’s the time of year where car and truck lovers can come out and appreciate the beauty and power of some amazing vehicles at Archusa Creek Water Park.
Come on out to the Annual Car Show at Clarke Fest on Saturday, September 27, and enjoy a great time looking at vehicles from across all the decades, vintage to modern day.
“We want everybody to come out and enjoy the day,” proclaimed Greg Jackson, President of the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce. “Enjoy the fun. We look forward to having a great day, so come take part in the car show and take part in the core of Clarke Fest as well.”
Registration for all cars, trucks, and motorcycles will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
By 1:00 p.m., they will begin doing drawings for those who registered to participate in the car show. Like in years past, they’ll give away at least $1,000 in cash prizes as well as door prizes provided by local businesses and sponsors for the event. They already have some great door prizes, including a log rocker provided by Quitman Building Supply, prizes from O’Reilly’s in Meridian, and possibly a two night stay at any Pat Harrison Waterway Park.
The car show is just one of the things to look forward to at Clarke Fest this year, and they plan for it to be as spectacular as it has been in years past.
