Begin the Super Bowl weekend celebrations early on Friday, February 7th, at the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Souper Bowl Friday Lunch.” Serving a variety of soups—vegetable beef soup, gumbo and chili.
Chamber members invite friends and neighbors to dine with them from 10:30 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. at First Methodist Church, 203 East Franklin Street, in Quitman. This year marks the 22nd year for the event designed to combine good food and fellowship while providing funding for the Chamber’s operating expenses.
Along with the generous servings of soup, gumbo or chili, diners can enjoy a sandwich along with a dessert and beverage.
Tickets are available from Chamber of Commerce members, at the Chamber office or at the door for a donation of $8.00.
