Charles Neville Jordan, 91, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on March 3, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on August 8, 1933, to Benjamin and Virgie (Beckman) Jordan in Quitman, MS.
Charles was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Quitman, MS, where he fellowshipped with all of his church family. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving father and grandfather that loved spending time with his family and friends.
Charles is survived by his four daughters, Diane Ivy, Mary Jo Ivey, Robin F. (Greg) Carney, and Mollie Beth (Robert) Starnes; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; two special nephews, Larry Broadway and Jimmy Broadway; and numerous friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Joseph Jordan; mother, Virgie E. Daniels; wife, Betty V. Jordan; daughter, Charlene Rainer; brother, Jimmy Dale Jordan; and five sisters, Bernice Jordan, Judy Bell Broadway, Grace Conner, Nell Raines, and Bonnie Raines.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Farmer and Rev. Troy Dew officiating.
Burial will take place in the Crossroads Church Cemetery.
