Monday, December 1
The Clarke County Christmas Parade will take place in Quitman on December 1. Lineup will begin at 5:00 p.m. The parade will be from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 6
The Town of Shubuta will have their Christmas Parade on December 6 at 11:00 a.m. Lineup will start at 10:00 a.m. at Shubuta Laminators. All motorcycles, ATVs, cars, trucks, floats, dance teams, and horses are welcome. For questions, contact Kutrinah at Town Hall (601-687-1536) and inform her if you plan to participate. A special performance will be done by the Heidelberg band.
Saturday, December 6
The Town of Stonewall will have their Christmas Parade on December 6 at 1:00 p.m. All types of vehicles are welcome to participate. This year, they are asking participants to consider throwing items that are more sustainable than candy as a way to help serve people in the community. They suggest items such as granola bars, packages of nuts, beef jerky sticks, individual cereal boxes, etc. Participant registration forms may be picked up and dropped off at Stonewall Town Hall. Participants must be registered by December 1.
Thursday, December 13
The Town & Country Mistletoe Market will be at the Clarke County Multi-Purpose Annex, located at 99 Westwood Ave. in Quitman, on December 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, and there will be door prizes! Vendors can call 601-776-3951 for more information.
