Mt. Gilead MB Church is excited to announce Vacation Bible School 2026, "Hooked! Reeled in to Serve God." It will be held on Wednesday through Friday, June 3-5, at 6:30 PM. Two new components will be added this year: STEM (Science) T (Technology) E (Engineering) and M (Mathematics), and this will be a certified school through the Sunday School Publishing Board. We will have classes for all age groups. Participants who attend each session will receive a class card. Certificates will also be awarded. Kickoff your summer with Christian education, fun, food, and fellowship. Please attend, bring others with you, and share this announcement with others. We look forward to worshipping and fellowshipping with you!

Bethel United Methodist Church, located at 1952 County Road 690 in Shubuta, will have their 3rd Annual Women’s Conference on Saturday, June 6, at 10:00 a.m. The theme for the conference will be “Righteous Women Called by God.” The motivational speaker will be Overseer Ernestine Terrell from Atlanta, GA. Words of Encouragement will be provided by Sasha Phillips from Quitman. The Mistress of Ceremony will be Rev. Tommie Ruffin. The guest speaker will be Evangelist Angela Carl from Calvary Hill Baptist Church.

Harmony Baptist Church, located at 5357 Highway 18 West in Quitman, will have a garage sale on Saturday, June 6, from 7:00 a.m. until. Don’t miss out on some really good deals on interesting items and more! All proceeds will go towards missions.
Sunday, June 7
Coopers Chapel Church, located at 2131 Highway 511 East in Quitman, will have a Memorial Homecoming Celebration to celebrate their 121st anniversary on June 7. Join us in remembering and celebrating our heritage, honoring the legacy of those who made an indelible mark in our lives and reconnecting past and present members. At 9:30 a.m., music will be provided by The Bible Tones. At 10:30 a.m., guest speaker Bro. Phillip Dearman will bring the message. At 11:30 a.m., there will be a cemetery service. Bring a dish and join us for lunch at 12:15 p.m. The nursery will be available.
Sunday, June 7
The annual homecoming service will be at State Line Methodist Church on Sunday, June 7. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with old-fashioned congregational hymn singing followed by the morning message. Lunch will be spread on the outside picnic tables. Bring a covered dish and a lawn chair and enjoy a step back in time. The church is located on County Road 645 in the Theadville community. Everyone is invited.
June 15-18
