Northrup Chapel Baptist Church, located at 2602 Highway 145 South in Quitman, invites all kids to attend their Vacation Bible School, “Let’s Get Magnified!”, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on July 13 – 18. Pearlie Grove Baptist Church, located at 108 Shirley Dr. in Quitman, will have a free giveaway on Saturday, July 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There will be clothes, shoes, appliances, furniture, decorations, etc., all for free. Items may be donated by contacting 228-424-5975. Come out and get some free items!

Pearlie Grove Baptist Church, located at 108 Shirley Dr. in Quitman, plans to give parents a break with a Kid’s Back to School Craft Time on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is free and will give parents a break for four hours. A snack and lunch will be provided to kids. Kids will create a craft that they can take home, all for free. All children are welcome to attend. Zion Rest Church at Eucutta will be having Homecoming services on Sunday, August 2, at 10:30. Our pastor, Rev. Ed Smith, will be celebrating 50 years of ministry. Afterwards, we will have potluck lunch under the pavilion. Everyone is invited.

Pearlie Grove Baptist Church, located at 108 Shirley Dr. in Quitman, invites women of all ages to attend a Women’s Conference on August 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is free to attend.
