St. Mary M.B. Church, located at 502 County Road 270 in Shubuta, is having their Annual Revival. The Sunday morning service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on August 23 with Pastor Clinton McGruder. Revival opens at 5:00 p.m. Sunday night with guest speaker Bishop Dr. Lorenzo Carter. Pastor Clinton McGruder will be the speaker Monday, August 24, to Wednesday, August 26, starting at 7:00 p.m. County Road 115 off Highway 11 turns into County Road 250. The road is closed due to bridge construction. If traveling from Highway 11, you will need to take County Road 280 and keep straight until you reach County Road 270 on the right. St. Mary Church will be on the left.

Bethel United Methodist Church, located at 1952 County Road 690 in Shubuta, invites everyone to attend their Building Fund Program at 2:00 on August 30. The program is dedicated to help enhance and expand the church facilities to better serve the congregation and community. It will be a joyful time of worship, fellowship, and giving and will feature uplifting music, heartfelt testimonies, and an inspiring message as they share the plans for their building project. Stonewall Church of God, located at 141 Leola Street in Stonewall, will have Sister, Sister/Brother, Brother Day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on September 5. The speaker will be Minister Brenda Dixon from Union Hill AOH Church in Meridian. All are invited to attend.

Worship service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Our very own Pastor, Rev. Lonnie Nicholson, Sr., will bring the message. Rev. Darron Chapman, Pastor of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Buckatunna, MS, will bring the Homecoming Revival Message. The Homecoming Revival service will immediately follow the worship service. Bethel United Methodist Church, located at 1952 County Road 690 in Shubuta, will have Fall Revival on September 20-22 at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The speakers for the 11:00 a.m. service will be Host Pastor Renay Dawkins and guest speaker Pastor Theodore Cole. The guest speaker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, will be Pastor Steve Edwards. The guest speaker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, will be Pastor Keontae Carter.
