Pleasant Ridge PH Church, located at 654 County Road 117 in Shubuta, will have its 3rd Annual Fundraiser and Gospel Sing on Saturday, Oct. 10. At 3 p.m., there will be a silent auction and chili cookoff. Just pay $10 for all you can eat, $5 for ages 6-12, and kids 5 and under eat for free. We, the pastor and members of Cokes Chapel U.M.C., cordially invite you to come and worship with us in our one day Fall Revival on Sunday, Oct. 11. Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m., and morning worship will begin at 11 a.m. with a message from Rev. Willie Kinslow. The afternoon service will begin at 1 p.m. with guest speaker Rev. William Murhey, pastor of Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Church of Heidelberg, along with his chair and members. Come help us lift up the name of Jesus.

Juin us as we celebrate their faithful, leadership, heartfelt devotion, and unwavering commitment to our church family. You and your church family are invited to join members of Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church at 1379 CR 154, Quitman for our Mission Program on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. in Morning Worship Service. Our theme is “Empowered to Serve, Equipped to Go.” Mark 16:15, “Go Ye into the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Our speaker will be one of our very own, Deacon Steven Harris. We welcome you to come and join us in worshipping and praising God. If you are unable to join us, please pray that our program will be a success. Those who can and will are asked to wear something pink in honor of breast cancer month. Lunch will be served following the service.

Fall Festival scheduled at Northrup Chapel Baptist Church for Saturday, Nov. 7. Free to the public. Celebrate the season with hayrides, chili/soup cook off, games, crafts, and God. Located at 2602 Highway 145 South, it promises to be an event “Fielded by God’s Love.”
