The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is hosting a Look and See so that the community has an opportunity to come out and explore the ongoing construction at Clarkco and hear about everything coming up for Mississippi State Parks.
The Look and See at Clarkco is scheduled on Saturday, March 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“Visitors will have the chance to explore Clarkco’s 43 campsites, the camp store, Cabin 1, and the tennis/pickleball courts,” expressed Park Manager Bob Jeffers. “All guests are invited to stop by the park office or lodge to hear from park representatives regarding the projects taking place in addition to upcoming plans before heading out to explore the current progress on renovations. Join us for a peek into the future of Mississippi State Parks! These projects are a major step in our improvement plan. We are excited to be entering a new era for Mississippi State Parks. It is our goal to elevate and enrich the current offerings at Mississippi State Parks while also preserving the timeless elements our guests have loved for generations.”
Come out and see the improvements that have been made at Clarkco and see what will happen next.
