The Clarke County Chamber of Commerce annual meeting/banquet will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church, Quitman. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. The central theme will be “Clarke County – A Great Place to Live, Work and Play.”
The Chamber will welcome special guest speaker Dr. Jesse Smith, the President of Jones College. Brooks Wood will return this year to provide the entertainment. Brooks is a very talented Clarke County young man.
The meal for the evening will be prepared by Marcus Hester. In addition, during the banquet, we will recognize and applaud Clarke County’s Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year. Please come out and show your support; you will not want to miss this very special evening.
Tickets for this event are available at the Chamber Office. The Chamber office is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-4:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $28.00 for open seating and $30.00 for reserved seating. Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, January 17, 2024. We must give an attendance count to the caterer at that time. We have limited seating, so plan to get your tickets early.
