Clarke County Law Enforcement responded to multiple calls over the weekend.
It started with a call regarding a wreck on Friday night.
“There was a two-car wreck around 8:12 Friday night on County Road 130 around County Road 320,” stated Chief Deputy Barry White. “One vehicle left the scene. That driver, Tommy McCann, was arrested for DUI first, no insurance, possession of marijuana, and leaving the scene of an accident.”
The other person involved in the wreck was transported to Rush.
Saturday afternoon brought in a different call: a drive-by shooting.
“At 1:39 p.m. on Saturday, we had a drive-by shooting on County Road 280,” continued White. “A vehicle was shot. We’re still investigating that.”
No injuries were reported in the shooting.
