The Clarke County Livestock Association is pleased to host our spring meeting for cattlemen, livestock producers, and others interested in learning more about livestock. Our topic will focus on how to aid in the creation of a stronger more sustainable bottom line by developing a healthier, stronger, and more efficient animal. Tim Ishee, retired agriculture instructor at Jones College, who is himself a cattle producer will speak on how mineral supplementation can improve performance, strengthen immune function, support fertility, sustain gut integrity, and reduce stress in your herd. The nominating committee will present their committee report, and we will be electing officers for the 2023-2024 year at this meeting as well.
The meeting will be held on Monday, March 20, at Norma Jean’s Diner, 15479 Highway 11 North, Pachuta, MS. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. with a catered dinner. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, Circle C Tractor, there is no cost for the meal. Registration is required, so that we can make sure to have enough food. The registration deadline is Friday, March 17.
Please call the Clarke County Extension Office at 601-776-3951 no later than Friday, March 17 to reserve your spot for our upcoming Clarke County Livestock Association meeting. New members are always welcome and may pay membership dues at the meeting. We look forward to seeing you on Monday, March 20.
