The Clarke County Republican Women will host their monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Bittersweet Crossroads located at 101 US-11 in Enterprise, Mississippi. Please join us at 5:30 p.m. for a Dutch treat light meal and fellowship. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m.
The guest speaker for April meeting will be our Senator Jeff Tate. Senator Tate will be updating everyone on the current legislative session, and we welcome your attendance.
Jeff Tate represents District 33 in the State Senate. He has been married to his wife, the former Leigha Barnard, for 12 years, and together they have two daughters, Caroline (10) and Ella (9).
Prior to his election to the Senate, Jeff served for a decade as the Election Commissioner for District 5 in Lauderdale County. During his tenure in the Senate, he has held key leadership roles, including Chairman of the Senate Elections Committee, and he currently serves as Chairman of the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee.
In addition to his public service, Jeff is a small business owner. He owns Tate’s Fireworks, with locations in Marion and Collinsville, and is co-owner of Pinchin’ Tails, a seafood restaurant in Marion, Mississippi.
