Clifford Martin Gavin, 77, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away on February 8, 2023, at his home.
He was born on November 26, 1945, to Abner Ray Gavin and Myra Kelly on Scott Mountain in Choctaw County, Alabama.
Clifford served as a Seaman in the United States Navy for four years after high school and retired from the automotive industry after 25 years of service with General Motors.
Clifford is survived by his son, Chris (Holly) Gavin; brothers, John Gavin of Georgia and Henry Gavin of Alabama; sister, Ann Gavin of Texas; along with nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Abner Ray Gavin; mother, Myra Kelly; and his brother, Sidney Gavin.
A Memorial Visitation was held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home.
