Braylon Peters signed to play with Jones College. After visiting the campus, he fell in love with the college and knew that is where he wanted to play.
“I went to a couple of games there,” stated Braylon. “I liked the atmosphere, and I liked the community.”
Out of all the sports he plays, baseball is his favorite, and he’s excited to be able to continue playing on the college level.
“I’ve been playing baseball since I was four years old,” explained Braylon. “My mom and dad got me into baseball. They got me into all sports. Anything that had a ball in it I was playing. I’m just grateful to play something with a ball at the next level. I’m grateful they’re giving me a chance.”
Coach Johnson is proud of Braylon and his accomplishments on and off the field and could only speak highly of him.
“Braylon is a three sport athlete. He’s excelled in football, basketball, and baseball,” proclaimed Johnson. “He’s been All State and All District Performer in all of his sports, and to be able to see him go to such a great program as what Jones is and to help him develop is something I’m just excited to see. Braylon is one of my favorite kids that I’ve ever coached.”
Braylon will continue to work hard as he continues his baseball career at Jones College where he will play in the infield.
