The Jones College tennis teams returned from spring break with impressive 9-0 wins over Northwest here Tuesday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
The No. 11 Jones women are now 14-1 overall, while the No. 14 men are 14-2. Both teams are perfect in the MACCC at 8-0.
Jones travels to New Orleans on Wednesday to face NAIA foes, Loyola and Dillard. The Bobcats host Copiah-Lincoln at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Northwest hosts Itawamba Thursday.

In No. 1 doubles, Guadalupe Tocci (Argentina) and Daniela Tovar (Venezuela) blanked Raney Peacock and Holly Stewart, 8-0. Maggie Savell (Park Place Christian Academy) and Allie Johnson (Hernando) defeated Amelia Anding and Grace Ann Wade in No. 2 doubles, 8-3, and Michaela Anderson (Tupelo) and Reagan Salter (Lewisburg) defeated Rivers Tarsi and Lia Ramos in No. 3 doubles, 8-1.
Tocci dominated Anding in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and Tovar whipped Stewart in No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-0. Savell downed Wade in No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Johnson defeated Peacock in No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-1. Annalyn Housley (Nettleton) blanked Rivers in No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-0,and Anderson beat Ramos in No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Northwest falls to 2-7 and 2-2.

Wallace Brewer (Germantown) and Tomi Nader (Argentina) beat Ian Gordon and Chris Albert in No. 1 doubles, 8-2. Charlie Brady (Australia) and Tanner Bevard (Sacred Heart) defeated Samuel Turner and Bratton Willoughby in No. 2 doubles, 8-4. Jackson Peoples (Northwest Rankin) and Prescott Schaumberg (Indianola Academy) beat Kaleb Parish and John David Nelson in No. 3 doubles, 8-5.
Nader whipped Gordon in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Brewer downed Albert in No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-3. Brady defeated Parish in No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0, and Bevard knocked off Willoughby in No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Peoples blanked Samuel Turner in No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and Hudson Hans (Moss Point) whipped Nelson in No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
The Rangers fall to 4-5 and 4-2.
