There are lessons in the past. Korea. Vietnam. Nicaragua. Bosnia. Mogadishu. Yemen. Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Syria. Remember those names? Did I miss any? I'm almost positive that I did. I have a good reason for that and I will get to it later. But do you remember them. Do you remember the names where we (big we, USA) stuck our noses and our weaponry in places where we really didn't have any business. Backing a dictator here. Backing rebels there. Supplying both sides here and there. Have you ever heard the phrase "Elite groupthink"? Most all of the troubles of this past 50 years have been caused by those "smarter" than the rest of us.
It's a well-known fact that the rich don't think like the rest of us. I am not talking about Uncle Robert, you know the one who retired from cooperate Exxon and purchases what he wants. I'm talking about those who are so wealthy they have their own accounting branch. The ones who have so much that they really don't know what to do with it. Shown regularly on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous or hidden behind behind a corporation that does their dealings in the shadows. Despite what images most project there are enough shady characters present to keep Interpol in business forever. And like always, I'm not denigrating all the rich because there are some who use their wealth for good. It's just not common.
To use the words shady, fraudulent, criminal, and crooked are just a drop in the bucket for descriptive terms for the Clinton Global Initiative, a billion dollar slush fund set up by the Clintons and their elite friends across the world. The players, directors, and hangers-on look like a who's who of Department of Justice fame, and you should be aware that you really have to screw up to get persecuted by our Department of Justice these days. Just take one like Claudio Osorio, a CEO of a Florida based building materials company, on whose board Jeb Bush served, who was a major fundraiser for CGI. He scored a $10 million contract to build homes in Haiti while Hillary was Sec. of State. Currently serving 12 years in a Fed prison for fraud because no houses were built.
The reason the elite and the press all have their panties twisted up this election cycle is they probably thought Donald Trump was one of their own. He says he got into this election because he was tired of the same old elite establishment candidates running year after year and our country being dragged down into the morass that has become common in the rest of the world. The morass of indecisiveness in a policy of putting countries citizens first, lack of leadership and understanding just what a miraculous entity the USA was and is the lack of structure of borders that the elite want to develop, and the perniciousness of globalism and political correctness. It has already proven costly for such powers as Britain and Germany and we could be next.
That great and wise Mississippian, Oprah Winfrey, has gone all in for HiLIARy. She said in a recent interview that "you don't have to like her." What a resounding endorsement, but she's so right. I don't have to like her, or anyone associated with her. Every time I read something about them on the news I think of that Rolling Stones song, Sympathy for the Devil. Until next week. ags.
