I had in mind to continue along the path of college professors and their kind but it'll have to wait a week or two. With the army of liberalism brought to a crashing halt last week after seemingly on the path to victory it's time for conservative thinking people to stay mobilized. After being exposed as having no true direction, except for destruction of all moral values, the far left is in a leadership fight as to how far left they will lurch. As happens from time to time in politics political parties veer from ditch to ditch as they compete for votes to stay in power and sometimes find themselves in the middle of the road. Most people below the age of 35 or so don't know the truth because they stopped teaching it in school.
As the Democratic Party veers off the middle there has emerged a candidate for DNC chair named Keith Ellison, a professed Muslim congressman from Wisconsin, who is a proclaimed "progressive". I put the progressive label in parentheses, because like global warming, no one is really sure what that represents. If I have to explain my lack of hate for anyone then my pointing out his Muslim identity will come across wrong but theirs is a religion of basic intolerance. Stonings, beheadings, honor killings, denigration of women and minorities, genital mutilations, and the Middle East are a hotbed for the destruction of Christian values. This is the one who desires to lead the party "that prioritizes voter relationships over everything else". (From Ellison's website)
The Democratic Party’s history is marked with racism and terror. It was the party of slavery, black codes, Jim Crow laws, and the KKK. Democrats filibustered the '64 civil rights act for 83 days. Some of those lawmakers included Al Gore Sr. and J. William Fulbright, who was the Clintons' mentor. As recently as 2010 the Senate's president pro tempore was former KKK Exalted Cyclops Robert Byrd, Democrat W.Va. The preferred version of Democratic history is that all the racists and segregationists left the party and became Republicans. Laughable at best. It's easy to denounce all that as the past but where is the evidence. Hence the quickness to scream racist at everyone else.
Possibly one of the greatest Democratic presidents of our time, Mr. John F. Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what can you do for your country,” along with “the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.”. Those two statements give a description of what we are supposed to be as people and as a government of the people. That is the essence of conservatism and is diametrically opposed by liberalism. Liberals believe that the government should control every facet of life. The immensity of the regulatory powers of government is already astounding in breadth and scope.
There is no grey area when it comes to politics and it has bled over into our lives. You are either for or against, or so they would have you believe. In Mr. Trump’s takeover of the Republican Party, there are still those who are opposed to him and his beliefs, because it goes against their belief in big government. Yes, Republicans. Don't act surprised. The reason there is complete distrust in Washington is that people will say anything to get elected so that they can have a dip in the big pot of cash that is there. Their only promise is to those who line their pockets and we become the grey area. Mr. Trump has promised to drain the swamp that our capitol has become. Not become a politician like those who oppose him. Until next week. ags
