It has been with great interest that I have watched the coverages of the women’s marches that took place in our nation’s capital this past month. It was estimated that hundreds of thousands of women took to the streets in Washington in response to the presidential election and inauguration of Donald Trump. (From their website) "The Women's March aims to bring people together the following day, Jan. 21, in the nation’s capital to make a strong statement in opposition of Trump's values. The rhetoric of the election insulted and threatened women, immigrants, those with diverse religious faiths, people who identify as LGBT, people with disabilities, and others." What an exceptionally large load of horse apples.
If you noticed that I said marche(s), you might be wondering if it was a misspelling or what I'm talking about. There were two marches on DC last month. One received extensive coverage by all the fake news networks and the other was mostly held in silence. One featured vulgar costumes, hate and expletive filled rants, disunion from some women’s groups that wanted to join, and tons of trash left behind for others to clean up afterwards, the other featured Vice President Mike Pence and many others speaking for life and praying for the soul of our nation who cleaned up after themselves. One was put together professionally by groups funded by George Soros including Black Lives Matter, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, SPLC, Linda Sarsour's AAANY, among others. One was a group of people who have shown up every year to protest the Roe V. Wade decision. If you aren't sure about some of these groups look at the values they espouse.
It is improper to call others names. I'm not positive it is the same thing to point out the obvious. When you look at the difference of these two protests, one really about POTUS doing what he said he would do when running for election, and the other about the killing of the unborn, it's the difference between adults and children. Anyone with a child knows about tantrums. That act of yelling and screaming, holding your breath, kicking, jumping, stomping, and generally being a pain in the butt, until you get your way is embarrassing to anyone with a care. Personally I think its funny watching it because it only shows the heart of those engaged in that behavior, but as mentioned weeks ago it's a product of the "let everyone get a trophy" school of thought. Adulthood isn't like that.
What really matters? What really matters to you? While discussing with someone about the sanctity of life and how it has to be part of the foundation for a Christian life or things will be skewed from thereon, I don't think they believe it. I told my sister a few weeks ago that Liberalism is a religion. To believe some you have to believe it all. Just like anything man made it doesn't necessarily have to make sense or have a firm foundation. How can any American talk about rights when thousands of babies
are aborted? How can any American talk about rights when there is genital mutilation, children starving, sexual abuse, and trafficking here in the US? How can "inclusiveness" leave out all points of view? You aren't protesting. You are just having a fit.
