Multiple fire departments were on scene of a house fire for several hours that destroyed the Zdenek home on Water Street in Quitman over the weekend. The call came in to 911 at 11:30 p.m. Saturday night that a shed building was on fire behind a residence. When fire fighters arrived, the shed was fully involved, and the home had caught on fire.
