On Sunday, January 16, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., we are asking for your presence and participation to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a candlelight vigil walk. The walk line up time is 4:45 p.m. We’re asking you to bring your own candle in a cup or container and all who attend to wear black, if possible, to show our unity. If anyone needs to sit, please bring your own lawn chair.
The walk will begin at Sumrall Park and end at the Clarke County Court House in Quitman, MS. There will be a commemoration program to follow. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated. All families are invited to attend.
