Calen Richardson of Enterprise was named 2023 Clarke County Distinguished Young Woman Saturday night at the Quitman High School Auditorium. Calen also won the Self-Expression Award, Fitness Award, Spirit of DYW, and Most Ad Sales.
Laura Kate Robinson won First Alternate and the Be Your Best Self Essay.
Second Alternate was Caroline Nelson who won the Scholastic Award and Talent Award.
Courtney Milsap won the second most ad sales receiving a $150 scholarship.
“Because of the hard work of these young ladies, our committee, and the wonderful support of local businesses and the city and county, we awarded $11,000 in scholarships tonight,” stated Mona Odom, committee chairperson. “Thanks to everyone for your support! We are very proud of these young ladies and wish them the very best for their futures!”
Richardson will go on to the state competition this summer in Meridian, MS.
