The Grand Marshal for this year’s Mardi Gras parade is none other than William Price.
Most people in the county would recognize Price as the Quitman School District board member for Place 3; however, he also has other responsibilities in the community.
Price attends Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, where he serves as a Sunday school teacher for the young adult class, is a deacon, is the chairman of the deacon board, and is the church treasurer.
He highly values his family and friends.
“I am married to JoAnn McKenzie Price. We have three sons: Roderick, Rashard, and Rio. We have 12 grandchildren,” expressed William. “My love in life is family, food, and friends. I really love spending time with my grandchildren.”
He became Grand Marshal this year because of the impact he has on his community and his mission to do everything possible to help others be successful in life.
“My goal in life is to help someone along the way and help our young people to succeed,” declared William.
Congratulations on being named this year’s Grand Marshal. Come out and cheer William Price on in Stonewall at the Mardi Gras parade.
