Earlier this year, Clarke County resident Joey Traywick wrote and directed the movie TIME, which he filmed at different locations in Clarke County.
Now, TIME has been released and will be appearing in the Rails to Reels Film Festival at the Temple Theatre in Meridian on Saturday, October 23. Joey Traywick is ecstatic that his film will appear on the big screen for others to see.
“I’m very excited that the movie TIME that we filmed completely in Clarke County, Mississippi, will be shown during the Rails to Reels Film Festival at the Temple Theatre in Meridian this Saturday night in the 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. block of movies!” exclaimed Joey. “TIME will be the second movie of the night. The first movie showing is short, so TIME will show shortly after.”
A schedule of the movies and movie lengths has been released for anyone who is interested in attending to see TIME play out on the big screen. If the film maker is present at the event, then they will be given a brief question and answer session after their film has screened.
At the end of the night, awards will be presented to the different films.
The movies will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last through 10:30 p.m.
