Cooper’s Chapel will be having a gigantic indoor rummage sale on Saturday, May 7th from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Also selling fried fish plates for $10 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Proceeds are for the Cooper’s Chapel Building Fund. Sister, Sister and Men’s Day will be held at Stonewall Church of God from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Calvary Hill Baptist Church would like to invite you to our Men and Women’s Day Program. It will be held on May 15th at 2 p.m. Pastor Chris and Elect Lady Sonja West of Pine Grove Baptist Church-Waynesboro will be our guest speakers for this event. On Sunday, May 15th, Mr. Shane Sanderson, who is a Missionary from Guatemala, will be the Guest Speaker during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service at First United Methodist Church in Quitman. In 2010 Mr. Sanderson moved to Guatemala and founded Casa De Mi Padre, a long-term care facility for children who have lost their functioning parents for whatever reason. The mission of Casa De Mi Padre is to provide refuge and shelter, hope, stability, food, clothing, family, schooling, and Biblical instruction for needy children coming from impoverished, shattered homes; abandonment, or homes where death has led to children being orphaned. Mr. Sanderson will be sharing his testimony and his work with non-profit youth organizations. A love offering will be taken. Everyone is invited to join us on this date. First United Methodist Church in Quitman is located at 203 East Franklin Street.

Memorial Services will be held at Cross Roads Methodist Protestant Church, Sunday, May 22, 2022, beginning at 10:45 a.m. Rev. Dan Henry will bring the message. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to come & enjoy the day. Everyone with loved ones buried in the cemetery are asked to remove old flowers from graves before Sunday.
