We would like to extend an invitation for you to participate and attend in our upcoming community event which is “Coming Home to Clarke County, MS” that will focus on the celebration of our youth. On Saturday, April 30, 2022, there will be a parade starting at 12:00 p.m.; lineup begins at 11:00 a.m. at Clarke County DHS, 29 Harris Avenue, Quitman, MS.
The parade route will end at Quitman Fire Department. If your church would like to have a float in the parade, please contact one of the committees below.
The parade will include:
1. Truckers
2. Motorcycles
3. Firetrucks
4. Classic Cars
5. Bicycles Riders
6. Dancers
7. King and Queen
8. Horses
Following the parade from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., there will be live music and vendors at the Clarke County Courthouse in Quitman, and a car show at the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce.
