Outreach Health Services in Shubuta invites everyone to attend the 2023 Summer Blast Health Fair on Saturday, June 10, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. It will take place at the Shubuta Medical and Dental Clinic, located at 130 North High Street in Shubuta.
They will be offering the T-Dap, $5.00 sports physical, and EPSDT screenings with insurance. Educational booths will be available.
There will be a bounce house, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks. It’s a fun day for the kids, and adults can learn more about various topics.
Some things that people can learn more about are how to care for themselves this summer, including the following: sun protection, vitamin D, skin damage, skin cancer risk, and dehydration.
The clinic also issues the following summer health tips: drink plenty of water, eat light, healthy food, stay cool and wear cotton and loose-fitting clothes, use eye protection, and use sunscreens with SPF.
