Incumbent Michael Guest and Michael Cassidy will face off in the runoff election Tuesday, June 28, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
In the Republican Primary of the 3rd Congressional District on June 7, Cassidy got 47.5% of the votes statewide, and Guest 46.95%, leading to a runoff.
Voter turnout was low in the primary race not only statewide, but within Clarke County as well, with only 1131 of 11,086 registered voters voting.
Absentee voting is available in the Circuit Clerk’s office Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 noon.
